WOW Awesome work, definitely something I would never even consider doing especially since I never sit on the passenger side, but I give you props for doing something like that! and for it coming out looking amazing! I wish they came like that lol

im not so sure about changing the rails and crossmembers....seems like you might be taking passenger comfort over structural integrity. i can count on one hand how many times ive had a passenger in my TA. its a drivers car.....not a passenger's car.

I understand that the majority of you who have posted may never sit in the passenger seat. That is fine. I also understand that you would never consider such a modification. I thought it was a good idea, and let me tell you it is night and day difference from before and after in terms of comfort. Regarding strength, I don't think I sacrificed any strength. The factory components are welded in, probably better than the factory welds. I'm no engineer but I think the final result outweighs any potential strength decreases if there are any. It's not like I am Autocrossing this car or racing it hard at the drag strip, not that it would matter. It's a street car.
Well enough of me babbling, I figured it would be nice to post up mine and my friends idea on here.
