Got to thinking the other day. I was walking out of my friends house, and i looked at my car and thought, well hmmm maybe it would look good murdered out, like FLAT BLACK, and paint the 10spokes like a dark grey metallic, or just a reg metallic color
LOL i guess my question is, should i ? one i get a DD, or not ? it would really only come out on sunny days or nice nights for a few runs

^^the people that think this color is purple are ****** color blind, no joke....
Flat black does not belong on new f-bodies, it looks trashy and cheap IMO. at least paint is gloss black with a clear coat. What you are talking about doing will cheapen the look of your car

Flat black is getting really played out and it looks like **** unless its professionally done.
When I think of murdered out I think gloss black, with 5% tint, smoked headlights, tail lights, corners, and gloss black wheels.

Flat black is ok on maybe a track only car that you only care about one thing,,,,SPEED!! But even then it still sucks, cuz even though its fast it still look looks like a POS!! and you wouldn't want that would you? Just be glad you have the color you do, I'm stuck with f****ing bright *** red. There's only about 5 billiontrillionmillionand a half of that damn color. I would trade paint color any day with you if it was that easy, but unfortunately it's not.
Now if you were on a really tight budget and it was lets say an old car then flat would not be so bad but on a new fbody please don't. Good luck with whatever you choose to do though.

When i first got the car ALL THE EMBLEMS CAME OFF, i hate stickers, cant stand them AT ALL, makes a car look like crap IMO. But i was just thinking all flat black, blacked out tails, headlamps, and darken up the rims, IDK, just a though i had one night LOL

Man I love these threads! This is the third thread I've read today about flat/matte/satin black paint jobs and nearly everyone is a hater. Now I am definitely going to do it and flip off people that drive PURPLE cars while I'm hitting 15 psi in the left lane.<<--I'm just stirring the pot, don't get your feelers hurt.
