We start our all overs out at 3500.00 and go up from there depending on prep work and carries a lifetime warranty. You can't even buy decent materials for that price so remember you get what you pay for and you are definitely gonna get it for that price.

I understand that paint is expensive, no doubt. Guess I'm a risk taker haha. As it turns out, the ad I intially posted is a little off, or they've changed it since, but it come with 3 base coats, 2 clear coats (not just one), and a lifetime warranty (as opposed to 6 months). I just can't imagine a business, especially one that is established, would give that kind of warranty and then do a half *** job. Lifetime means I could, if needed, go back to them in 20 years if the paint starts to crack. Not saying I will still have this car in 20 years of course, but I COULD do that if needed. Anyways, I understand you get what you pay for, but a lifetime warranty? I'll take my chances.

In any case, I guess it wouldn't hurt to keep everyone here updated as the months go by, so in a year from now, one of us can tell the other, I told you so

a good body man / painter is expensive
but a bad one is even more expensive

because you have 2 pay 2 get it done twice
and on the second time when you pay someone 2 stip all that pealing paint off then it will get really expensive

when earl scheib painted my ws6 hood on my 02 vert it came out great. If they have a lifetime warranty then even if it does peel they will re-do it.
