Default Is black easy to touch up/blend?

I have a 98 black firebird with some deep scratches on it. The scratches will need to be sanded and repainted. I was just wondering if black is easy to blend? I dont think my black is faded at all.

thanks

The only difference is that it will shine more than the rest of the car. lol. It'll be a perfect match.

depends on where the scratches are on the panel if it will need blended out or not, but all black is not black, most have a brownish or yellow hue to it that is not noticed until its up against something painted pure black, if you got any questions i am also in pittsburgh if you need any help

For you Pittsburgh guys, is there any local shop that you would recommend? I am in the process of purchasing a white Ws6 and want to get it painted black with yellow accents on the front bird/ram air on the hood/ trans am on the sides/ and the rear "Pontiac" and bird. The car will need some prep work (read scratches) before it can be painted.

Thanks

well seeing as that he did alot more work for me then just paint. Id have to say that the pricing is great. He does this for a job and he just did it at his house for me to save money and make some on the side.

Ill be getting it back tomorrow around 6 so expect a thread to be made seeing as ive never shown my car off yet.

SOM is not that hard to blend. I have done it quite a few times and it blends good. Not anything like the pewter code 382E. Which has a metric shitload of alternates to it.
