Default Hatch rubs when closed. Here's a pic.

Not sure why. This is the passenger side. The hatch isn't closed completely here in the picture. How do I adjust and center the hatch to not rub when closed? I put a quarter on the hatch to show the biggest rubbing part. I don't race it but the last owner did drag it a few times. Not sure if the drag racing has anything to do with the hatch. The doors and hood all close fine. You can also see that the paint ain't that good in the area either. Thanks for the help.

Maybe the original owner twiseted the chassis but then if that had happened you would have problems all over the place.

sounds like you just have an alignment prob. if the gap is wide on one side and narrow on the other but continuous all the way down then its most likely a hinge issue. if on the other hand the gaps are even at the top and uneven toward the rear then it may be a striker issue.
