is this a dumb idea ?
i just thought about it and i think it would look
any ideas on the cost ?

No. In my opinion they look bad when they are stuck on. If it was molded it would like like a sick cat's *******.

im looking at doing something similar but with a RK sport performance wing. the only thing im afraid of is it cracking. what if i filled it with foam or braced it, would that help any?

Almost looks like the hatch is closing down too far like bump stops need to be adjusted. I think alot depends on the color of the car, a black car it wouldn't be worth it, but light colors it could make a good difference.
