Default S.O.M. Paint ?'s(pics)

Well I just got my car back from having both bumper's painted. The rear bumper came out fine but the cme valence and front bumper do not match at all. My question is how could they turn out like this when he used the same paint for all of it. Here are some pics of how it turned out...

im not entirely sure, i thought it might be something as simple as the difference in materials that the paint is being shot on, but with the rear bumper being fine it pretty much rules that out.

ive noticed the same thing on some factory painted silver f-bods as well

Either the quarters or the fenders have probably been painted before.

Well if they were painted with the same paint but at different times, maybe a change in air pressure, or changing guns nozzels etc...

just letting paint sit, especially with all the metallic and pearl in that will make it change color, you could have the body panels blended to match though

Update: I went and talked to the guy who mixed the paint and he said "That looks horrible." He said he is going to make it right by giving me another pint of paint. At $105 a pint this stuff aint cheap. The body shop also said they would re-spray it for free if the paint was supplied. So this makes me happy.

Huh. My first thought was that the primer used was a different color than used from the factory on the fenders. Maybe he used black primer on the bumper and they used grey or white primer from the factory...i don't know that's just my first thought.
