Default a bit OT: but here goes, need advice

i'm in the process of polishing a Gun frame i had imported from overseas, customs forced them to put a white paint on it...... the wire wheel on the dremel has problems taking the paint off, a lot of problems. I have also tried letting it sit in acetone.

here is the kicker, the frame is aluminum. i need to know if there is any type of stripper out there or thinner that will remove this paint without hurting or dying the aluminum. if it was enamel or laquer the acetone would have removed it.

any ideas?

Aircraft paint stripper should work just fine, they are made of aluminum as well.
