After talking to you yesterday I knew I had to find the thread on here and take a look. The wife's car is going to be pretty sick. Can't wait to see what it looks like when all is said and done.

Anyways, lets see some more pics Chris! Are you gonna do what the guys with the Donks do? Have the fake Barbie sponsor?
This thing will be turning heads all over the place.

This reminds me of another thread where everyone was begging for pics of a custom color paint job...

Hopefully there will be more pics in this one!

Some paint questions for you... I see that you're doing the jambs first etc so you cna paint the car w/ the panels on. I know this is important w/ a candy job, but how will you prevent a paint line when you open the door? Also, how will you paint the part of th quarter panel that is covered wheen the door is closed?
Reason I ask is becuase I just got through redoing my entire car and we had teo do the jamb/rocker as one whole piece and we did the car in pieces.
Just curious... the first shop I used that fucked up my car wanted to paint it together, they nearly ruined the car... horrible job, horrible paint coverage, horrible color consistancy. new shop has re-done the car properly/perfectly.
Thanks,
Brian

^^^ a lot of people do the parts on the car for the main reason of better color blends on the panels where as if you were to paint them off the car there might be a little less paint on the edge of a panel and with kandys that will really screw up the color. if you use foam tape inside the jambs or a different method then you can always wetsand that line back out. if its done right the line shouldnt be bad to begin with.
