Default Driving with no hood

would it hurt to drive my car for 3 hours with no hood so i can go pick up my new hood? assuming it isnt raining of course

does anyone know if it is illegal in ohio or indiana to drive with no hood? i cant find any laws about that except the hood cannot obstruct the view of the road

Just put it in the back, that's what I did



You gotta push the drivers side seat all the way up, so you may get uncomfortable, but it's not bad.

You made me curious about the legality, and since I do nothing at work I searched it ... all I found was ricer forums (lol) and no definitive answers for you... but I'm actually leaning towards that it will be illegal

however

Driving 3 hours trying to not get caught should be exciting and I say you go for it. If the cop gets mad tell him the latch broke (and it was unsafe) and you're going to buy a hood right now.

I doubt it's illegal, but i'm not 100% sure. Why not just call your local police station and ask?

Maybe you'll just get a fix it ticket. In which case you just go show the dumb **** cop or judge that you infact do now have a hood.

no other veihicle to put a new hood in and i cant fit the hood in the hatch with me in the car too cuz i need my seat all the way back as im 6'6"

I live in PA and No offense but I see ALOT of cars in OH with no hood. Hell Ive seen cars with no door.lol

perfectly legal in OHIO, i ran for three years with no hood, rain,snow,sleet or hail, just like the ****** f*ckin mail. but it is however a equipment violation in WV. trust me i have had every moving violation known to man.
