Default Dave's Firebird Makeover

Hey guys dave said to log on and post some pics of his progress on his firebird but i didn't find a projects section so i put it here, if this is in the wrong section please feel free to move it to the proper section..

Anyways, for the car, it's a 1998 Firebird formula that is getting some improvements. a few motor upgrades, a few chassis upgrades, a audio/video upgrade and a definete exterior makeover.

Make sure to drop in and let us know what you think, or if you have any opinions or suggestions let us know.

Here's a pic of the car right before dave pulled it in, had to get one last burnout before it got tore apart, as you can see it's only spinning one tire, so that will be one of the upgrades, along with a gear change..

Here's some pics of dave's audio upgrades. might be a lil excessive but that's how we like it..

2 sets of RE Components

1 US Amps MD3D 2000watts RMS

1 RE Audio MX12

I think thats it for now, possibley a head unit/dvd upgrade in the near future. but we will see how things go.

Yea so far we've been pretty happy with the RE/US Amp combo's, but this is the first time we've stepped up to the MX, it's one of their higher end subs, we are really anxious to hear it, but trying to be patient and waiting untill it's all set up correctly.

Here's a pic of the paint scheme we have picked out for his ride.
Normally this ends up being my favorite part of any project, but i'm not sure on this car, I think it is all going to come together really well. But i still think the finish will be the icing on the cake..

I think that's pretty much it for now, hopefully dave will chime in soon too. He can keep you updated on the mechanical, he's capable of handling that, so we'll leave that up to him.

I'm anxious to see how this car responds to my 4:10 gear set. I'm thinking between that, the chassis upgrades and the few motor upgrades that when this car comes out of the shop it will be a completely different animal.

RE audio is awesome. I had two 15" MTs that I just sold for my camaro modding fund. Retarded loud

Been hard to get to our projects lately, we've spent so much time on the road this year, but we do have a few progress pics for you guys.
