Minor Fender Bender
Minor Fender Bender Well, it happened. I was at a friend's house, and her mom went to leave. I hear my car alarm go off and spring into action to see what was the matter. Before I made it outside it went off, so I went back to bed. Then her mom comes in and says she backed into my car. 
So I went to look at it, not really that bad. At least it flows with the body lines

What I was wondering is, is it possible for me to fix this myself? How easy, if possible, would it be to get to the back side and just beat it out with a BFH? I don't really want to take it to a shop, but will if there's no other way. Any suggestions as to an easy way to get to the backside?

If you can get to the back side of it.... you may be able to "pop" it back out.
Doubtful though.... at least on your own... you might consider asking a "dentless" repair service if they can do anything with it.

You could do more damage trying to straighten it yourself. You could stretch the metal and make it realy hard to work. 785.00 should be the price for the repair. 4 hrs on repair 3.5 on paint and 3.0 blend. 2.5 for clearcoat 185.00 material. you might want to add about a 100.00 for taking the door apart to remove handle , belt mld and mirrow. Oh maybe next time stop banging the daughter long enough to see what was hit LOL. She might have done it on purpose

as for being a spite hit, I doubt it, I was currently spending three days with them helping her move into college. Last night there it was her mom's idea for me to just stay in her dorm so I didn't have to drive so much.

The reson for taking the door apart is where it is hit you may have to blend on the door to hide the different shade. You would not want to get the overspray on the edges of the mold. and mirrows. The high quality shops remove this for a clean fix. About you girl friend , It was just for fun LOL. You left the door open
Thanks for an actual number, but I'm confused as to why the door has to come apart? nothing on the door was hit, the only damage is where the dent is. Also I removed the door moldings long ago, so I don't think that'll be an issue either.
