Oh No!! Not another Camaro Wide Body Thread!
Updated pics on pg 9 & 14
Several months back there was a thread talking about this, and there was a company "suposidly" making this kit. I think that fell through, no updates, details etc... There was also a link to an ebay auction for a set of fender flairs for the camaro, Only set in existance I think. I won the auction and was able to get both quarters, and both front fenders for $211.xx. I have finaly gotten around to posting my experience.
Initial mock-up, Kind of fit, but were going to need a lot of work to make them fit right!
The reshaping & body work begins...
I also noticed the trim line did not exist on the panels, so I had to carve it in.
Eclips gas door...
Pretty much ready for paint! The front fenders took A LOT of work to align with the doors, nose, & hood. Its not perfect, but I am pretty happy with it!
At the end I was able to get an extra 1.5" per corner, I do have a larger set of wheels & tires coming that will fill up the fender wells. Sorry for so many pics, but I wanted to tell the whole story. I would appreciate your feedback on my work sofar, keep in mind that the true shapes of primered panels are hard to capture with a camera.

Thanks for all the compliments, I appreciate it, and not one "rice" comment yet, I am supprised-LOL.
I think its the same width as the Harrel cars, They are a lot more pronounced in person. Its kind of hard to get good pics of primer.
I am going to stick with arctic white, I just got done redoing my entire engine bay and I don't want to have to start that over again.
I thought of that, but when I started the projec I was a little skeptical of the whole thing and I didn't want to to put the extra work into what was possibly going to be a huge FAIL! I don't think I could have used the panels I got for a mold, the quarters werent even close to the shape I wanted, or ended up with. They took a LOT of work after they were on the car.
