Default brake calipers

i'm wanting to paint my calipers and rear drums of my firebird soon to spice it up a bit.. the car is red without t-tops.
any suggestions for colors or anything i should know before doing this? i was looking at a kit at autozone to do it

just get the caliper spray paint, clean the calipers really good... spray. i actually recommend painting them on the car just cause you dont have to worry about getting paint in the inside of the caliper... just tape everything off. for your car id say red or black, mine are black just cause i like everything settle... that and im keeping with the black+white theme.

i used brake cleaner, a wire brush, grinder, and a can of high temp engine paint; more choices in color that way.

pulled the calipers off, cleaned them, ground and sanded them down smooth, then tape them off and painted them with the high temp paint. its been on for over a year now and still looks great; a quick wipe with a damp towel gets all the brake dust off with no effort at all.

polishing the calipers look great too if you have a lot of spare time

i checked them today after school and it looks like i'm going to have to touch up the front right caliper. somehow the paint peeled and is messed up. i think its from the cheap paintbrush the kit came with and the bristles stared coming off
