Looks awesome boss. I need some for my NBM WS6. Did you use the GM paint or color match it?

They make a insulated heat tape that I would put on the bottom of those especially if you romp on it and get those headers hot. Eventually you will see the integrity of the paint fall of and it might bubble or chip. Afterthoughts Auto sells it with there FRCs and it shouldn't be hard to find. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks I used the paint code but it was little off from the car color, but you can't tell with them in the engine bay. Im still waiting for the mirrored firehawk emblems yet so they will look better when i get them on. Ya i was thinking about the heat tape i wasn't sure about it.

CoolTape is the brand name that I and Afterthoughts Auto use on the back of the fuel rail covers. Available from Eastwood.

Good work. I'd really like to see pictures of this installed. I'm debating doing my bumper support NBM or black.

Here are some pics of the brackets installed and the covers a little farther along. Just still waiting for the emblems to finish them off.

is this base/clear, or a single stage paint? it looks good, and id def put some kind of heat tape under them. i know i wish i did with mine, but it was too late and they bubbled after a 1000 miles or so, esp around the fins.

IMO, if you paint pieces up real nice, and still have the nasty flat paint form the factory on the engine bay.....it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. you plan on painting your engine bay too??? itd look killer then. whats that in place of the fuse boxes? did you lower the fuse boxes and make a cover, or relocate them altogether and cover it up? ive done the same but never see others do it really.

Ya i plan on doing the whole engine bay don't worry. Im just doing what i can with the time i have. I plan on filling in the holes from the wire mod and maybe relocate my battery before i paint it. I just pushed the fuse boxes down into where the air pump use to be and made a cover to cover the wires. I also need to remove that bracket for them before i paint.

It depend what color you want them as i only bought NBM paint. You could rattle can them black pretty easily and it would still look better then they are now.
