Default FS: Forged 370CI longblock

Up for sale is my recently built 370CI. motor. The motor has maybe around 2,000-2,500 miles on it. I'm just trying to see if I can sell it to go even bigger . So here's the breakdown of it.

-6.0L block bored .030 over. (Block has around 50,xxx miles itself)
-ARP Main stud kit
-Stock Crank
-H Beam Rods 6.125
-Clevite 77 Racing bearings used throughout
-Mahle Pistons (Flat top -2cc Valve Reliefs) Also, rings are file fitted for a 200 shot.
-Ported and milled 243's (LS6 for the ones that don't know.) These heads were milled .025 so the compression is around 11:1
-PRC Dual Valve Springs
-Brand new Manley Stainless (stock size) valves.
-GM MLS .051 Head Gaskets
-Custom Comp Cam spec'd by Patrick G (238/246 .605/.613 110+2 LSA)
-Victor Jr Intake (No fittings included)
-Melling Oil Pump
-ARP Head Bolts
-ARP Rod Bolts
-LS7 lifters
-LS1 Valley (LS6 does not go with it.)

If there's anything else you'd like to know about the motor just post up or PM me. Looking to get $4,600 OBO. Can't stress the obo enough.

The motor has been to the track about 3 weekends. First weekend out I got Runner-Up in No/Electronics and the third weekend out I won the Razorback Nationals, also in No/Electronics.

Has a best 1/8th mile ET of 6.68 @ 102.10. 60' was a 1.431 in a 3,560lb F-Body.

That should be plenty of pictures

Well, I'm looking for a set of 243 heads, so if you decide to split, PM the asking price shipped.

let me think about this one- I've been looking to do a rebuild on my LS2, but this would save me the trouble but it would not be stroked-

I would then have 243 heads and the block can remain intact-

hopefully you're not in a hurry to sell.....this is a tough choice.

I'd really rather sell together. The LS6 heads wouldn't be much alone and you can get a shortblock from TSP for around $3400 for an Iron 370.

Differences between the LS2 or 6 Valley pan and the LS1 valley pan- It doesn't look like the same pattern to use my LS2 and I wouldn't want to overlook a minor detail.

RPM range for the cam?

There are a few engines in the F/S section to sort through =

As far as I know about the valley cover is that the LS6 is a better PCV system pretty much over the LS1. As far as gains I'm not sure, I'm running the LS6 with a catchcan set-up. Thats the only reason I run it atleast.

The cam can see 7000RPMS easily. I'd say around 3500-7200 is about the range for it.

It's an iron block, also 24x reluctor. If no one picks this up soon I'll just keep it.

Made 493RWHP and 467Tq all motor and 663RWHP and 672TQ on a 150shot today on the dyno.
