would they work for a lt1?

 

As long as you had the correct pistons. Tey would have to be a piston with a lower compression height. You would need a piston with a 1.1159 compression height. Unless you change the crank too. If you added a 3.75 stroke crank you would need a compression height of 1.024.
But yes they will work in a LT1
