30th Anniversary WS6 Trans Am PARTS...ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION/ WHEELS ECT!
Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $1
Location (State): MD
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LS1/LS6
I slammed a curb in my 30th Anniversary WS6...it was deemed a "total loss" because of unibody damage. Now that it's a salvaged title vehicle and not worth jack to any collector I'm fixing it and not doing the stock thing anymore...I'm going to build a 454 LSX after I get it up on a frame machine, therefore most of the drivetrain has to go...The rearend hit and the diff is bent to hell, so the ole' 10 bolt along with two of my anodized blue wheels will not be getting sold for obvious reasons...Not like those rears' were anything but a bad idea in that car anyway.
Heres what I am selling...
1.) LS1 5.7L V8 (duh) 111,xxx miles
2.) Completely built 4L60E trans with custom built 2400 stall converter and shift kit... 100 miles on it...yes ONE ZERO ZERO miles on it! Thats One HUNDRED...Period! It is barely broken in!
3.) 2x 30th Anniversary WS6 Trans Am wheels...Blue Anodized Alloy 17x10.5
4.) Maybe...The driveshaft...I'd have to look at the U Joints and take it to the shop to make sure its not bent kinked or dinged.
I'd like for buyers to salvage they're own parts if they happen to be local, but if not I have no problem pulling them for you. You will have to pay for shipping of course. I know I'm probably going to get the following question a bunch so I'm going to cover it now...
I don't know if you will get the wiring harness with the engine or not yet...I have to decide if I need it, and quite frankly I'm a busy man at the moment and haven't had a chance to research the differences between Gen III and Gen IV harnesses. I'm going with LS7 type components. Fuel injection for sure, and hopefully drive by wire. I already know I'd be doing some splicing. As to how much crap I'd have to do to the Gen III harness will be the deciding factor. Knowing that, some input would be greatly appreciated, but if not I can work the google at some point. If I find that a Gen IV harness is a better way to go for my plans, the LS1 harness is yours. The transmission comes with the console too, but you don't get the 30th Anniversary plack.
PRICES...If you're interested enough to call text or email we can talk money...Quite frankly I don't have any set numbers in my head, so make an offer. I know what my parts are worth and what they're not worth, so no low *****. And none of the other parts are for sale, this isn't a parts car per say.
TRADES...Unless you have a TVS SP2300 Supercharger or a T-56 tremec/ a tranzilla kit I dought it, but its worth a shot if you think you have something I'd be interested in. Speaking of shot, no guns, I could do with out the temptation lol

engine is 3500 shipped anywhere in the USA. I am willing to maybe negotiate if you are interested
...As for the wheels...The only imperfection is in one rim on the outter edge mostley covered by rubber. It is a shallow scuff, less than the diameter of a quater in length. Probably from a stone. It is much too shallow to be from anything bigger. It is an easy fix but it never really bothered me enough to get it repaired. You can't really see it. A new tire that doesn't have a tiny loose rubber burr(like a hang nail on you're finger) above the scuff would cover 80 percent of it anyway. You won't find it unless you're looking hard for it. These rims come complete with center caps. They have 10,000 miles on them. No dinks. Never whiped down dry so no swirls! Only been in rain a few times, never in any other elements. Inner dish can be whiped right down to the silver finish. No caked on road grime anywhere. Blue anodizing is not faded at all. Why did I spend so much for new ones? The woman who had the WS6 before me, scabbed the origionals up bad and I couldn't put up with it so I bought new rims last year.
The perfect rim is $500
The one with the imperfection is $450 to be fair.
I don't need to hear how expensive they are, I've heard it enough belive me I already know. I bought them new! These are not regular wheels one, and two I dont see why I should have to cut anybody even more of a deal than you are already getting. You can check the value yourselves on 30th-ta.org. These wheels are worth $782.00 a piece and Caps are $33.22. a piece, and that's what I payed. Multiply that by two and you get 1,630.44 for a total of two wheels. That doesn't include tires. MY WHEELS COME BALANCED WITH ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE TIRES with like 10k miles on them. They are fine! Just buy the same model tires and put them on the other wheels you have, or are going to get and you will be fine. What do two of those cost another 500 bucks or more? If you don't want to save over a grand that's fine with me, just don't complain about it, because the price is the price. I realize some of you didn't realize what these run, and where tunred away because of it. That is fine, I should have figured my numbers out and posted sooner. I understand that. The ones who want to complain, all I can say is the best of luck finding what you are looking for at you're prices because I am not going that low.
The transmission...I just don't know. I realize a 4L60E isn't nearly as popular as a T-56, and those are even going cheap as hell. Though I wouldn't even consider this one broken in yet, its got like 100 miles on it. its not stock either as I said in the ad. Its far from it. Reguardless, I didn't expect to get much interest in this trans. Those of you building drag cars still might be interested though. Knowing that, you'd be suprised how low I might go on this thing, just make an offer. a new stock one goes for 3500 and won't handle too much more power than what its given. This one cost me alot more than that, and I'm going to sell it well under the price of a stock new one.
Thanks for looking and pictures are coming soon...I should be able to utilize some daylight mid day tommorow, so check back in then.

i have an LS1 with a 4L60E and two wheels with rubber and center caps. three units sold as 3 only. no splitting anything up sorry. That means you can buy the engine. The transmission. The 30th wheels with rubber and caps. You can't have my crank. You can't have just my caps. You can't have my stall. And I love the interior too much to sell it. Remember, this car is getting rebuilt asap.

Engine is sold...Still got the wheels and the transmission.
I'll let the transmission go for 2200 bucks. It's a built and beefed 4L60E with a shift kit and a custom 2400 stall. Can handle some serious power, and it has only 100 miles on it.
