I have a 6.0 V8 LQ4 366 cid Vortec Motor (LS style) out of a Chevy HD Truck. Bought it last year to put in my truck. Just going to keep it stock with the 5.3.. DOES NOT RUN. It does turn over however. Will need rebuilding do to sitting so long, thats why it's priced so low. Still a good fondation no major damage to heads or block. It does have the better 317 stamped heads & 6.0 stamped on block.

SOLD
Have alot off PM's. Sorry if I didn't get to all. Guys going to pick it up Sat. morning. Have a few in line if falls through. Will keep you updated.

I'm really not sure what it's from. I was told when I bought it a 2000 to 2004 Chevy 2500 HD Truck. I took the oil pan off there was no metal in the pan so the pistons & rods should be fine. I have the part number stamped on back of block maybe that will help >GM-SMCO, 12551364<

I'm mainly looking for some rods & pistons that are the floating pin style. I think the 05' up have them. I'll take it for that price though. Where in NC are ya?

Any idea why it doesn't run? Can you turn the crank? Any holes? where are you located?

Yes it does turn over. Just went & turn it with a rachet. It's been sitting for about a year since I bought it. Theres no holes in block & no valves bent. There was no metal in pan either so nothings broke. So its a solid motor for a rebuild. For all I know you may be able to take it apart freshin it up & put it back together & be fine. Just going to stay stock with the 5.3 in my truck. I'm located in Wilson, NC

columbia was a bad idea. I live right off of 95 myself. But I'm exit 1 in GA. What about somewhere between sumter and florence?
