2000 LS1 and T56 Combo
Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $3000
Location (State): VA
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Non-LS Part
The good:
The car had 60,000 easy miles on it before it was totalled. I was also getting around 27-28 mpg with the 6-speed and the 18" wheels (higher gear ratio). Going by my personal experiance and taking the word of the previous owner the car was never raced. When I bought the car the only aftermarket piece on it was an SLP air lid. I installed all the bolt ons in my sig and babied the car with the exception of a few WOT runs for tuning purposes.
The bad:
The car was totaled on May 31, 2009 and the engine hasn't ran since then. It's been sitting in my back yard the whole time, so it may or may not need a rebuild due to neglect. The engine and transmission were not damaged from the crash but my gas tank was cracked and it would not hold enough gas to start the motor.
If anyone is local to Roanoke VA, I will give you one hell of a deal if you want to come help me pull the motor.
For everyone else, my asking price is $3,000 but because I cannot guarantee the condition of the motor due to the fact it sat for over a year the best reasonable offer will take it home. If anyone has an idea of how I can get fuel to the motor I'll start it up and take a video of it running. Comes with wiring harness, PCM, and pedals if you want them. I just bought a house and need money so offers are welcome but I won't take chump change for it unless it sits on here for over a month and doesn't sell.
I can have pictures up tonight if anyone is interested.

I snapped some pictures last night of the whole car. It was overcast so it was a little dark. I can take more pictures if anyone is interested.

@dimetweaker - I would be willing to ship but it might be a little while before I can pull the engine. I'm also not sure how much shippinging would be or who would ship it. This would be the biggest heaviest item I've ever shipped.
