Hey guys, I have a question for all the know it alls on my hood. If it is a fiberglass hood where is the fiberglass? This hood is like over 60lbs and the hood that I put on my car was a lot lighter than that. The hood is in a box and just to make sure on the fiberglass part, I touched as far as my arm would go and every place I touched was not fiberglass. So where is it to call it a fiberglass hood??

 

So no one wants to comment now?

 

not bashing u just info if it is oem it will be stamped under one of the hood shock tower mounts it should have an engraving looks like this .... this is the one on my hood that i bought

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but your hood is not an SS hood. So would it be in the same place? I still would like to know where is the fiberglass is at on this hood.

 

Lol point was that it's an AFTERMARKET hood. AKA not OEM so it's worth less. Steel or fiberglass isn't really the issue. Calm down dude. We don't know, we haven't touched it. You have. You tell us?

nope my hood is an ss .... i basically made an ss clone and that is a pic from the underside of the hood i bought that is the stamp from slp cause my ss spoiler has a stamp just like it
