That is way overpriced for a trans that needs a rebuild. I will offer $500 shipped.

are you serious....bahahahaha id say its not a bad price, these go for 700-1000 when they need a rebuild. and hes including shipping which will probaly run him 100-200 bucks. junk 4l60e cores go for 200-300 without shipping.

If you think it is priced right then buy it, send it to get rebuilt and get a bill for $1300 worth of work. Thats a $2300 trans. TDP sells them for $1900 for a stage 2 outright with no core. I made a fair offer. Call up TDP, RPM, Tick and see how much they pay for a core. I will tell you what(o.p) tear it down and send me pics of all the internals and I will tell you how much it will take to build it. If it is not too bad I will adjust my offer. We just bought a so called level 5 that just needed a cluster and input shaft..... yeah... right... only thing good on it was the case. We overpaid and it's always a gamble on how bad it is. If the trans is locked up then something is seized inside and I can almost guarantee it will need a mainshaft and a couple of gears. My offer still stands o.p, I am not here to trash your thread just looking to buy at a going rate. Shipping is under $100. I will split that also. Just do a search and you will see the going rate on ls1 t56 cores. Good working trans are going for 800-1300.

Dont these go for like 1800 in good condition? You could get a rebuild kit kit for 300-500. I just always seethese go for rediculous prices.

Also, I get 4l60e cores for 75-100 dollars all day, You must be overpaying or have deep pockets to not care how much they get you for. Good luck on buying over priced parts.

A rebuild kit is more than that. It does not include hard parts.. if it needs a gear then there goes 150-200. Imagine 3 bad gears and 3 bad syncro's. Gets expensive fast.

Like I said above... TDP sells a rebuilt stage 2 for $1900 outright with warranty.

ahhh this is funny, obviousley you guys arent in the market for a transmission, you keep quoting 1900 for a rebuilt transmission, dont forget the core and shipping! thats another thousand in its self

1000 shipped ill take reasonable offers. for those of you who want to cry, move on, im in no rush.

They quoted outright prices. That means no core. Dummy.

I see stock working 6spd's every few days for $1200. I guess yours doesn't have a bell housing either? Your looking around another G to rebuild it depending on whats wrong, plus a bell housing. Just sayin' .... not dissnin' .... but if you want to part with it, IMO you better drop it like it hot ... free bump.

i paid 1250 trans, bell, and mgw shifter. trans had 44,000 miles but needed a 3rd gear sync.

I read your pm. Good luck on the sale. Way Too much money for a CORE that will require over 1000 in parts.

All the main Trans rebuilders (like Tick) pay 500-600 for a CORE. Your trans is a $550 paper weight right now.
