6.0L shortblock with dish pistons. This is completely stock and currently assembled. It includes the rear sensor, knock sensors, valley cover, lifter cups, lifters, camshaft, and timing chain. I can throw in a timing cover if you need it. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I WILL NOT RESPOND TO REQUESTS FOR SHIPPING QUOTES. The shortblock is located off I-95 on the NC/VA border. I am asking $325. Sold as-is with no warranty. As with any used engine, I always recommend that the engine be taken apart and inspected before installation.

6.2L heads- One is damaged. The engine dropped a valve with about 20k miles. I have heard of this happening on several occasions. The head is not cracked, but the combustion chamber has been damaged. In my opinion it can be repaired. Pictures are attached. I AM willing to ship the heads, but they are also available for local pickup. Anyone is welcome to come by and inspect the heads before purchasing. I am asking $225 for the set as-is, assembled with valve springs and valves. I do have the rocker arms and stands available as well.

Any history on the engine?

 

The mileage is unknown and I have not heard this engine run. I bought it as a complete longblock with plans to install it in a Chevelle but I decided to go with an old school big block.

If the engine and heads are not sold within the next 2 weeks they will be traveling with me to Charlotte Auto Fair. I have several other LSx parts as well. My vendor spot is in the "Green Field." Anyone interested is welcome to pick up there or I can meet you on my way (Going down I-85) between Littleton, NC and Charlotte.

 

By the way, I still have the 6.2L engine that dropped the valve. The block is cracked, one piston and rod is broken. It still has the water pump, oil pan, timing cover, cam sensor, etc. I have not disassembled this. The crankshaft may be usable??? I have no idea what this is worth in this condition.

 

I live in Charlotte so if you still have the motor then I'll check it out. Would you be willing to sell the stand along with it?

Someone has made a deposit on the 6.0L.

Does anyone need an L92 intake removed from the 6.2L? It's assembled with drive by wire throttle body, injectors, fuel rails, and intake bolts. Asking $125
