I just bought this used and noticed that the throttle cable mount has been cut off so I cant mount the throttle cable bracket to the intake. Also the rear right bolt pedestal has been cut shorter. I ended up finding another one locally so I decided to sell this one.

I guess the fact that the throttle cable mount has been cut off would not be a problem for corvette guys since they have fly by wire and no throttle cable. I also guess anyone who is handy can rig something up for it to work for an F-body.

For the rear bolt pedestal I guess a shorter bolt would be required???

I will post pictures so you can see it and determine if it will work for you. I will try to take detailed pics so you see what you are getting. This is sold as is obviously.

The throtttle cable bracket isnt that big of deal. Just drill 2 holes and use washers to space it out where it needs to be. Looks like someone hacked the **** out of it

 

Huh? Are you talking about the MAP sensor on the back of the intake? If so it has just been removed. You would just remove the one off the stock LS1 intake and put it on the LS6 intake. If this is not what you are talking about can you please be more specific as the two things I noted are he only tw modifications I noticed, which I would think still make this LS6 intake usuable.
