I'd like to see $300 SHIPPED Given the fact you can use the thing on 3 different years of cars, its a nice cable to have.

To answer the software question though, that's always free. You just download it from HP Tuners site. The cable/hardware is what you are paying for whenever you buy any HP Tuners used or new.

just google hp tuners serial interface and you should be able to pull up pictures..... op is right ther eis nothing to the serial interface really. i will say this though. it is not upgradbable to a newer version.
