This is the lowest I will go on this beautiful hood. This OEM hood is no longer available and if purchased costs way more unpainted. This is the original OEM paint and it was removed from a 02 SS with 14000 miles it doesnt have a rock chip at all. You all with red SS's needing hoods should be contacting me soon 900 and this item will be something of the past in the near future.

This is what you all are going to be doing thats passing up this deal on a hood. Its a true mint red OEM SS Hood 900 bucks WOW!!! No problems on the bottom or top, no scratches, no dings. I am going to remove it from the box today and take some pics of the bottom of the hood and post them also so you can see what you all are passing up. Dont say I didn't tell you so when its gone its going on ebay tomorrow.

wow maybe there are some stupid people out there that stupid enough to pay the much for a hood. selling it i take it you got your money to buy you a aftermarket hood. so i guess OEM is out the window for you then?

Only because I have to have the raised hood because I have the trans am raised air intake and MTI clear lid that I want on there and in order for them not to hit I have to go with a raised hood. I wanted to go SS because of the look and OE fitment but the OE paint on that hood was awesome and I didn't want to paint black. Nobody is dumn in this neither the buyer nor I because for someone with a nice Camaro you are looking at shipping and other things play a factor does it need to be painted, does it need to be fixed and can it be fixed?? A lot of the SS hoods on the market and being put on the market because they have problems. This was a flawless OE painted 2002 SLP OE GM hood in mint condition already red with factory paint no problems cracks or issues and the guy that bought it lived close by shipping will cost if you don't live close to WV. An unpainted SS hood brand new will cost you 1200 then you need to paint and that doesnt include taxes or shipping. Most people in this for a long time already know these facts so they sit back and read and laugh. Some people want a bargan but at 1000 dollars that is a good deal on a hood like this its a rare find trust me. I wanted a SLP ultra Z hood which is also OEM GM fitment but I don't think I will be able to find one anytime soon but there is another I will go with.

Oh also you stated the word stupid in your comment???? Who is stupid???? Lets say you had a 2002 SS Camaro that was red and you wanted to put it in a car show because it had 40000 miles on it but you were in some sort of accident and the hood was damaged. Now take that SS to a car show and see the results with it having a OE hood on the SS car versus a aftermarket and trust me most car enthusiasts will know the difference not to mention the resell value now you tell me who would be stupid????? Duhhhh...........
