No this guy is over priced no one anymore cares about oem ss hood when there are tons of good aftermarket moldings out there and not to mention the sunoco and Harwood flat hood and vfn hoods that look better and are practically half the price o well each to his own GLWS

true he's over priced I agree completely but I still think the stock ss hood looks better than a flat hood anyday, on a true ss of course

Overpriced or underpriced ???? What is the condition of the hood and what is it worth is the bottom line. You can buy a hood that doesn't line up well or you can buy a 100,000 mile hood with rock chips and other things the matter with them. I see it for what its worth its a good OEM hood taken off the car with 14000 miles on it no dings and no scratches so to me if I had a nice red car and wanted the SS upgrade I would consider it. How much does a paint job cost these days and how much is a aftermarket hood that may not line up like OEM?? Bottom line this is a price I see that is fit for the hood I am selling if you are interested post up if not look and move on but thanks for all comments.

Your not to far off, I see mint ones go for $500 and down all the time on CL and our local forum. The last 3 OEM ones I bought didn't add up to this asking price. The one on my car cost me $250 and there isnt a scratch on it.

why bust the guys *****? If you arent interested keep the wise *** remarks to yourself. If i had a red camaro and needed a new ss hood or was looking to upgrade, I would certainly pay a good amount for it. He is right, you can pay 300..400 for a hood with JUNK quality and then to get it painted the right way is another 300 or so at least and in the end you still have a piece of junk that will never line up like a true gm hood will. Good luck with the sale crbuer

Its only one set of years posted it clearly states 98 - 02. U cant go by someones sig LOL. You could have 9 cars, the car listed in my sig is about to go to the crusher I gutted it. It clearly states 98 to 02 LS1 and how many 14000 mile ss OEM ram air hoods do you see floating around not many and a brand new OEM ss hood is 1200 unpainted you do the math Einstein, is it overpriced for a hood that lines up well and works like it should with a good quality unchipped OEM paint job and taken off the car at 14000 miles. Again thanks for your comments.

Lets not ruin this sale thread gentlemen. Although you may think its over-priced, its his right to ask whatever he wants for his item. Let's not turn this into a pissing match.
