Got a SPEC Stage 3 clutch kit with only about 2,000 miles on it. A buddy had it in his car and took it out before he spun a rod bearing. I picked it up and have been holding onto it since last summer in my garage. See my thread here for reference and pics: https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...-question.html and what SPEC said about the clutch

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, April 25. House got hit by a tornado, and tore the roof off my carport/garage, and rained on everthing in my garage for a few days. All my tools and hardware made it. My insurance company does not cover automobile parts for some weird reason, so they will not cover this clutch. Before I throw it away, I wanted to know if anyone could use this clutch. See the thread above for pics before tornado. It surface rust on it, so maybe it could be cleaned up well for someone who knows what they are doing with it. I've had a SPEC LT1 pressure plate resurfaced, so many this one can be done as well.

I'll say starting bid of $25, probably just what it costs to ship it. My insurance company won't cover it, so I'm just trying to get something out of it, if possible. I'd like to have bids on it, so I'd say best bid by end of Sunday the 15th, or however long it takes for someone to want it

Will do. I know a pressure plate can be lightly resurfaced. I had .007" taken off my old spec lt1 pressure plate seen here: http://home.comcast.net/~sentinel00/DSCF0145.JPG

Bid currently at $25

Actually last night I got an offer from the guy who had it before me, he technically had the highest big at the end of Sunday night. Thanks for the interest though.
