Default forced induction shortblock: Oliver rods L19 bolt, Wiseco pistons, LS2 crank

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $3800
Part Fits: 2010+ Camaro, 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 04-06 Pontiac GTO, 04+ Cadillac CTS-V
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

My engine builder hooks me up from time to time with parts and I jumped on this deal. I have a complete LS2 forged shortblock already and bought this as backup parts to do another motor. No longer need it.

6.0 iron block with doweled main caps by R.E.D. (Steve Demirjin) 4.0" bore
ACL coated main/rod bearings (Calico coatings)
ARP main studs
All machine work/assembly by S&S Automotive in San Leandro, CA

Forced induction rotating assembly:
used LS2 crank from '05 GTO, used Oliver rods with L19 rod bolts (dyno time only), new Wiseco 4.0" bore -18cc dish pistons with teflon coated skirts and thermal barrier tops, with new A&C boost rings (need to be filed new in box), new DLC coated Trend Performance tool steel wrist pins.
Wrist pin link: constructed of H13, a premium Sprint Cup quality tool steel
http://www.mooregoodink.com/news/?p=2068

These rods alone are $1K+, the L19 bolt option is another $400, and the beefy coated wrist pins are $350+. My engine builder hooks me up at times with parts and this is one of them. I paid another $160 for the thermal barrier top coating on the pistons. This is worthy of 1000hp+.

Fully machined/balanced/assembled.
$3800

This is the premium setup based on a stock crank. Someone must want to go fast.

I would say yes. They look just like my Oliver billets.

Since the previous post I had another 6.0 iron block machined with doweled main caps standard 4.0" bore. I also purchased ACL coated main/rod bearings.

I want $3K plus shipping for everything non machined/not balanced or assembled.

The parts are all at my machine shop awaiting to be machined/balanced/assembled (line bore to align the main caps, boil block, press pins in pistons, file fit rings, balance, assemble) which should be around $800-1000 max. Balanced and blueprinted.

I use S&S Automotive in San Leandro,CA which is run by ex NHRA guy Rick Santos http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Santos
They have operated a machine shop for over 40 years and build race motors for customers around the world. They know what they are doing.

So you have your choice to either use your machine shop.... or mine. I would prefer to use mine as it will be easier to ship the parts and safer. You only need ARP main studs to complete this setup.

I bought a turn key race car and no longer need this. You can't duplicate it for less.

email or PM me. gnx7@hotmail.com

I will build a crate on a 40x48" pallet to enclose these parts and ship via Forward Air trucking. use the blue map in the link provided. You pick up crate at terminal http://forwardair.com/locations/falocations.htm
Shipping should be around $250 or less.
If you need it delivered to your door there is an add'l cost.

Thanks,

Mark

not splitting this combo apart

Stock cranks are good to around 1000rwhp. Beyond that it isn't the crank that has issues.... it is the cylinder heads being able to keep the head gaskets in place. If you do a search you won't really find ANY threads with stock cranks failing on high HP boost setups. I would stick with 1000rwhp as a "safe" limit.

If you can't pick it up.... then add $100 for door to door service.
