Hey guys. Putting this up as kinda a feeler. I AM NOT SHIPPING. Do not need to get rid of this rear, so don't want to go through the hassle of shipment. Here's the deal...I bought it last year with a busted ring gear. I have since had a reputable local shop do a full "freshening up" with new seals, bearings, and Richmond 3.73 gear set (have reciepts). It also has fresh redline gear oil. I never even drove the car with it afterwards because It's not running yet. My build is much more mild at the moment than originally planned because my money is going towards other things, so basically I would just rather have a stock rear and the cash right now. This is a complete rear end, brake to brake, with LT1 style discs. I am willing to let it go for $1600, or $1300 PLUS your complete LS1 or LT1 10 Bolt. This rear has a 4 series spool, and 33 spline axles along with upgraded 1/2 inch studs which are long for drag setups. I will include the 1/2 lug nuts too. Again, this is local only in CT. Thanks

Some people don't mind them...others can't stand them. I personally have never experienced it. I guess it all depends on how much you drive the car. If its a "weekend car" then I couldn't see it being a huge deal, but if you drive the car all the time, it may get old fast lol. Strait line/highway driving you wouldn't even notice. It would only be the tight turning situations like pulling into a parking space.

Yea I am right over the border lol. Well you could always deal with it for the season, and throw an eaton or trutrac in next winter! haha, that was my plan if I hated it. Yea it's got LT brakes, but since it has no c-clips, all youd have to do was unbolt the LT backing plates, and the axles would slide right out. Not necessary to pull the diff cover off, but you will have to press the axle bearings off to get the plates off. The LT1 brakes aren't bad tho!

I would be more than interested if you would be willing to meet halfway? I live in Ohio on the border of PA by the lake. I have a rear out of a 02 SS minus brakes with an aluminum T/A support and aluminum driveshaft, all has 22k miles. Let me know by pm.
