machine work was performed at Kelly Automotive out of St Paul .026" upper and .028" second ring gaps, piston to wall clearance is .0032-.0034", crankshaft end play is .003". I would have to check on bearing clearances but I believe they were .0015" for rods and mains.
This is a smoking deal on this engine, it is capable of some big time HP and I had nearly 4k into the shortblock alone.
317 heads that had a valve job and resurfaced when it was put together.
9.27:1 compression with a 71cc head.
