I think my prices on a stock 98 LS1 and stock 4L60 are high actually. I bought a stock 98 longblock with 243 heads and cam for 1500 a couple years ago. I'd go $1500 on yours and I keep my LS6 intake. It sounds like I'd have to take yours apart and inspect it all anyway. $6000 - $2300 = ~3700. Where in GA are you?
Ive honestly been so busy this week on deltawing crap I havent even been to my shop to see if he's finally done with the 80. I sure hope so as Ive already paid for parts and 90% labor...

sounds good, to be honest i found an lq4 locallly on craigs for 850 with heads and oil pan too i think, well its used ofcourse so who knows what will need to be rebuilt, but anyways i just bought an ls6 2002 block for 300 with pistons here in my city and will prolly trade a silverado ramair hood for 241 heads and ls6 intake by friday, by next month i will have about 2,500 and will use it all on finishing up my complete restoration of transam ive decided ill just add a stall and port the 241's with a nitrous system and i will be ok with the rear end i have, and i would be selling the block to my friend a few citys away who needs a block he has a bad *** looking transam with flames, sorry but since im over weight and the iron weights more and i dont plan on boosting a motor to the max i think its just better to mod a bit more my ls1, im not offending you i know your motor and trans are worth it, i just simply cant afford it right now maybe by next year if you still have it and i go to new york in jan or feb ill trade you for what ever i happen to have modded if i decide ill be better off using an iron for turbo or supercharged, thank you for your time sir. i will have my dream build one day
