Tom,
Yes there were 16" Fikse wheels at one time. Early on there were 17"
wheels using these same centers.

Alan,

Thank you for the reply. So you DID produce a 16" FM5 at one point then correct?

The sizes I am interested in are 17x9.5 and 17x11 in the FM5 with Technipolish finish. However I doubt I could swing a brand new set; hence my dillemma.

Thank you again,

Tom

Tom,
Sorry to hear that the wheels you purchased were not as advertised.
All Fikse wheels are manufactured with a dedicated center for each
wheel diameter.
Is it possible to return your purchase to the seller?
Regarding wheels for your F-body, is the Fikse FM5 wheel you are most
interested in? What is your preferred finish?

Subject: Sizing Blunder

Message Body:
Hello,
I unfortunately purchased a set of used FIske wheels under the
impression they were 17" (Fiske FM5). Clearly the seller could not
measure the wheel correctly as these are 16" variants. My question to
you is: Are the centers the same for 16s and 17 and the lips/barrels
change or do all sizes use different centers? If they can be swapped;
what is the price of 17" barrels/rings in a 9.5"/11" stagger for a 4th
generation Fbody.

Thank you for your time!

-Tom

They are serialed Fiskes, I think the OP can't use a ruler...and thinks I'm lying.

They fall right through a 17" tire

Widths are wrong too...you measure bead to bead. These are 9.5 and 10s

Fikse fm5 wheels for fbody (17x10 & 17x11)

I just don't need them. Thanks

Okay...here are the pictures since I'm such a 'liar'

No, no liar here; just the victim of either a scammer or a moron who won't admit he sold me 16" wheels.

Here are all the centers layed out. Note the sanding marks matching his wheels etc. They did not arrive with stickers; I assume he removed these as part of his 'cleanup'

Note the fiske serial number on each wheel, verifying these ARE indeed Fiske wheels and not knockoffs.

Here lies the problem...

Note the diameter of this wheel.

IMG]http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y33/RSbeast/IMG_0679_zps0145fcde.jpg[/IMG]

Now lets see that on both a 17" wheel and tire. Note the sizes of the tires.
Note the wheel sloppily seated within the bead.

Hmm..

Maybe I have the worlds first set of 18" srt wheels.

Or maybe I have the worlds first set of 18" 02 speedlines.

OR MAAAYBE I got sold 16" fiskes.

Now to the widths. Measured bead to bead.

Note all barrels measure the same as the lips define overall width.

Note the front width bead to bead.

Note the rear with bead to bead.

Now if someone can please tell me how I am the liar and the con I'd really be interested to hear it.

But in all seriousness, I'm now out $1080 that I paid for the wheels shipped. GOOD LUCK trying to sell a set of 16" wheels in a GM only lug pattern.

The only way to do it is clearly to either lie; or be ingnorant to how to measure a wheel and sell them under false advertisment. Then get pissed because I am unhappy. I tried to be civil dude...

Thanks man....lets just say the OP is lucky he doesn't live within a reasonable driving distance.....cause I'd prob be in cuffs right now......it's a shame that scum bag pieces of **** like the OP scam decent people out of their hard earned money.....it's people like him that make others not want to purchase items off of other members......karma is a bitch and I hope he gets what he deserves.
