no but you do have to trim your inner fender on the inside of the wheel well for the wheel to clear.

Hey, had a question about the rear... did it come off the vette you have pictured? If so, do you know if it will fit an fbody without tubbing?

no it did not come out of a vette. It came from a f body and it did not have to be tubbed. You do however have to have a different wheel with the correct backspacing. Let me know if you are interested. I am ready to sell

If it came from a 4thGen Fbody, and this 9" is narrowed 4.5" per side, then a wheel with at least 3.5" back spacing is needed, correct? Nice, but a little too narrow to my liking. Good luck with the sale. Very nice selling price as well.

If it were 2.5 to 3 inches per side I'd swap my stock length Moser 12 bolt with you but 4 inches I think is too much. Good luck that's a great price.

I'll have to talk to my mechanic about how that would work but do you know what needs to be done to make it fit? Does it require any tubbing, fender rolling? Special hardware for brakes etc...?

Ok let me get in touch with my mechanic about it. If you get someone to buy it or trade for it go ahead and do it, don't wait on my account. I should know something about it by Monday though.

Did it need LCA relocation brackets or did that fit ok?

I know you said it had about 500 miles on it is it a brand new rear? Mine is a few years old but there isn't anything wrong with it. It has 3.42s in it but I have a set of 4.11s for it also.

Might not hurt to tell everybody it has Ford big housing ends on it and the fbody brakes won't fit, and the brakes off of it don't fit fbody like you said they would...

I had no clue. I was told that the brakes were the same as the f body brakes by moser. Guess they didn't know what they were talking about either. If you had an issue you should have returned them and asked for a refund. Not waited two weeks then bash me on a thread like I intentionally screwed you.

I texted you last week about it and you took forever to reply and then you didn't reply...

That's a simple gesture for anybody who wants to remind them since you haven't updated the post, someone else is gonna be pretty upset when they get this rearend and have stock backing plates presses on only to find out they don't fit...

This guy just opened a PayPal case as wants me to send him a full refund on the brakes. Which is absolutely no problem except for the fact that he wants to keep the brakes and me send his money back Ahahaha buyers and sellers beware.

Why would I keep brakes that have different backing plates from my 9"?

They did screw right into my brake lines on my car. I had no clue they weren't factory. I buy cars and part them out. I wish to god you were closer so we could meet in person lol.

I just completed a substantial transaction with this gentleman and he has been nothing but transparent and professional throughout the entire process.
