Default WTB: posi unit for 2000 Trans Am

Looking for a differential for a 2000 Trans Am. Need a 3 series carrier with or without gears. I have 3.23, but would like to upgrade to 3.42 or maybe 3.73. The factory one is a one tire fire right now. Can't afford to spend a crap load, just a decent used factory unit.

Thanks,
Chris

I am located in Proctorville, OH 45669 if you are adding shipping.

is your car a 3 channel or 4? 4 channel carriers wont work in a 3 channel unless you get the reluctor ring installed.

It is a TCS car, so that makes it a 4 channel, right??

If you just swap out a new carrier, keeping your 3.23s' and assuming your pinion gear bearings are OK and you're not gonna touch the pinion, you'll just have to reset backlash. If you also change gear, you'll have the entire gear swap procedure to do.
I have a couple 3.42 4 channel w/torsen rearends complete, but I'm up by the lake in the Cleveland area, too far for you.
