CONVERTED, I pieced together a dash using two dashes

Kev, I would'nt mind you coming down again, as I'd really hate to have to ship this damn thing and it makes it nice for me if you are doing the pick up . Let me weigh it to get a rough estimate for CONVERTED.

I'll try and post some pics tonight.

Sorry guys, I just moved over the 4th of July weekend. I finally found my camera about 10 minutes ago, and almost have a path cleared in the garage over to the shelf where the dashes are. I will get some pics tomorrow evening when I get home.

Sorry about that, One of my hard drive took a dump on me last week, and I lost all of my MP3s, and 5 years+ of family pictures. I still had a copy of the dash pics on the camera. They're too big to post. Do you have an email address?

Here's one of the pics. Its a little dusty. I still haven't found a box to put it in, but I should start tackeling the boxes in the garage as we are pretty much unpacked in the house (cant wait to get back on the LS1 & T56 build).

Anyway I can probably make up a box to fit, damn I wish I would have kept the boxes that came with the new dressers

I lost the pics that I took before I dissasembled teh dashes, which sucks cuz I took a picture of every bolt (so I wouldnt forget any) and also where the wiring harness clipped to the metal bracket.

yeah, a couple of blocks away.

The wiring harness that was on it, makes me assume it was a Firebird as the stereo plugs had an orange wire for power antenna and did not have the blue and white wire that is on e the camaro harness.

The AC ducting is rounded as well, where the other one (from the camaro) is squared.

The two dashes are identical (with the panels removed), so it could be.

I took a pic of the internal a/c ducts and dash PN's.

let me look them up at home and see if I can transfer them over here to work to post up.

OK, mine does look different, unless they merged the dashes for 01/02. Mine looks black, where this is gray. Mine dont have the molded round vents as does 02 WS6 TA's. What's weird is the wiring for the stereo. It follows TRans am color code, not the Camaros. As is the A/C vent, they are rounded, not squared like the one for the 01/02 Camaro. Does anyone have a pic of an 01/02 T/A dash?

ttt... no a 99 won't work because of the color code and the shape of the dashs is identical from 93-02 the only difference is the color code. I have a 95 dash which is the same color code as your 99 I believe. however the color code for 00-02 is ebony or black... this is the color i'm looking for... i've swapped all the other interior parts, from headliner and visors to door panels etc to have an all ebony interior but the last and final piece is the dash out of an 00-02...

Thank you.

I have an ebony dash from a 2000 T/A with a good passenger air bag and I also have the drivers bag in ebony. Wallywhite88@aol.com if you are interested. Name your price. Jesse
