I need a gauge cluster out of a 1997 car. Whether it be Camaro or Formula/Trans Am.

i got one from a 99 TA with around 60K miles i belive...not 100% sure on the milage but i know its around there somewhere

This won't work for you, They change them in '99 to '02

98's do not work to the best of my knowledge...I have a 97 trans am cluster as well...u can pm me too if you would like.

I think that you are wrong... Why do GM make a diff one every year ??? They make the first model on 97 and they replace it on 99-02

97 is the only year to have the digital odometer
98-02 work way different Ls1 stuff
93 is its own creature as well

FWIW I tried a 98 in a 97 this weekend and it does work.

i got one out a 1997 t.a it has 122k and the digital is dim it must be the backlight let me know thanks todd
