Default My gains with LS1 Edit

I gained over 17 hp and 13 ft lbs of torque at the wheels. Almost no timing was put in the car, a degree or 2. What a difference in the before and after dyno sheets. For anyone thinking about it, do it. It's worth it

Did you go to the dyno and tune it yourself? Makes me want to go because I know there is power to be gained in my car from tuning.

Thats a pretty good increase for a engine that is basicaly stock, i.e. no cam, heads, or headers.

No, I didn't do it myself. When the baseline was done It had an HPP3 tune. Maybe thats why it was such a big difference.

i gained almost 40 rwhp with my setup and i didnt add any timing.... most of it was shift points and making an almost perfect air fuel ratio throughout the rpm range.

Actually, when I pulled your program out to begin tuning, it didn't look like the HPP3 had done anything. The only thing that the HPP3 appeared to have changed was your rev limiter. Other than that all of your timing and a/f was stock.

I thought you had just used the HPP3 to do your rev limiter???

Either way, I'm glad your happy with the result.

Good Luck

Kevin, I didn't get to meet you when I picked up my car. You guy's looked real busy. I asked who did the work and Guy pointed into the shop and said " Kevin did ". There were about 7 people walking around inside. I'm doing headers/cam next. Any suggestions?

I never used my hpp3. I gave it to the other shop when they tuned my car. If they even did dyno and tune it.
