Question Car still short shifting

The car drives normal and fine around town and normal driving. but when im getting onto it or at the track the car shifts at 6k instead of 6600 like it was tuned for. i was told by the shop that tunes my car that the pcm is messed up when i had them check out why my highspeed fan wont come on. so im guessing that is also the reason my car shifts early but 100%. i checked my voltage at the tps sensor and it was 4.77. a little high but never threw any codes or short shifted before. any ideas or anything else i can check and rule out?

4.77V exceeds the TPS fault threshold and makes the trans
shift conservative. 10 seconds above 4.75V sets the code,
or something like that. Just make the stop keep it under 4.7
and see if the problem goes away.

yeah ill try to put some epoxy on the stop, or adjust the tps and see if that works.

tblu92: that is really good info! i dont have efi live, or any tunning software. but when i make the drive up to my tuner i will show him this!

ill keep you guys posted!
