Default Going to a 3 bar MAP

Ive got a turbo 2002 WS6. Fully built with every bolt on made. Im wanting to ogo to a three bar MAP sensor. Whats involved in this besides simply swaping the sensor. Ive got HP Tuners and Im ready to do whatever I need.

You'll probably also want to apply a 3 bar custom operating system to the file in question if available to make tuning a bit easier & with more accuracy/resolution.

Frost,
Is there a 3 bar that screws in. I like the cost on the GM unit you sell but am going to sell my fast 90 and go to the victor jr with the aaron elbow. I thought the screw in sensor would provide a cleaner more trouble free installation?
I will be pushing over 20PSI with the turbo system im installing this winter and am afraid to use the fast intake.

P.S. nice website I will be using it

Yeah those fast intakes leave a bit to be desired when it comes to map sensors, they basically just sit in there loose from my limited experience with them

Those MAP sensors don't fit a Corvette C5 manifold. I discoverd that when I took the manifold off. What you need is the MAP sensor from a soltice. The one at the top, not the one at the bottom. Check out other forums.

I got one froma duramax, Its a 3 bar part # 09373269. I believe the one in the pic above is a 2 bar. Ive been wrong before though.

They don't *need* to fit in a manifold. All they need is a vacuum reference and tieing into your stock harness. AFAIK there is't a 3-bar plug-in sensor...

The photo is of a 2 bar sensor

When I found that the MAP sensor I had bought did not fit, I took the route you mention. There was already a 2 bar MAP for the fuel pump reference, so I hooked this into the CPU feed used by the 1 bar sensor whilst the manifold was out. A bit Heath Robinson but it works.

I understand, but the thread title is 3-bar MAP so I was pointing out to the poster that there is not one in the arrangement that was shown above.
