E-bay Vats Bypass

You can jump the purple wires together and just bypass the BCM entirely if you want. The bcm just controls the actual starting solinoid in the vats system. Then sends out a password to the ecm to allow fuel. If you shut off the pcm vats, then it will run as soon as it is cranked.. It is simple to jump the right wires to make it work.. As long as the ecm has been programmed of course...

That took car of the security light coming on?? Was there any other tuning involved when removing the relay and using the jumper wire. My car starts fine....the security light just stays on all the time and is very annoying. Been like that for probably 6-7 months now.

I have one of those Vats bypass modules if you need it. Came with my painless harness. I just turned it off with efilive and took the module out. If you want it let me know.

So there are four prongs on the relay... how excatly did you jumper wire it? I'm curious because I'm about to try the same thing because I have a no crank condition when my security light comes on. I just want specifics

I put spade connectors on each end. broke off one of the tabs on each end. and stuck it down the 2 slots shown. I know its kinda hard to see when ones but you might just have to try different ones till it cranks.
