took the starter relay out and put a jumper wire in so the circuit is always complete. It should crank but the security light will flash while the car is running though

Awesome! I'm definitly gonna try that! the lights on the dash thing doesn't bother me but the whole not even starting thing does

I think its my starter, my security light goes off after the ignition is on but when I turn it all the way to start position it does nothing what could this be fellas?
By the way my starter was dragging before ,just never heard of it not doing nothing when trying to start.

before when i tryed to start minr the security would come on or flash i cant remember and it would do nothing. But once I did thid mod it cranks every time now.

I put a jumper wire in and and it worked intermittently too. I ended up buying the vats bi-pass system from Baker Electronics for $24.99. Very simple install. Installed today so I'll keep this thread updated on the results.

So far, so good ! My car has been starting every time with no problems. Seems to me the Baker Electronics vats bypass worked.

it is complete crap just unplug the it unber the dash and stick the proper resistor in there takes like .10 and 5 min no more problems
