Can ANYBODY figure this OUT!
Can ANYBODY figure this OUT! OK TONS of threads on hooking up wide bands DIRECTLY to the egr to log afr with hptuners.
BUT i need to know how to wire the Innovate MODULE to the egr for this.
if you dont know what im talking about, i bought the lc-1 innovate wideband and the wind band plugs into a module and it has 2 stereo outputs (i know those dont go to the egr) there are 6 striped wires coming of the module through a small harness as listed through the manual
red=12v
blue=ground
white=ground
yellow=analog output 1
brown=analog output 2
black=calibration (momentary switch)
now i have searched every thread on this to my knowladge and cant find this info. but how do i wire this up to log afr through HPTUNERS. the rest i can figure out, its the wiring i cant.

you need to hook one of the analogs to whatever pin is associated with the voltage of the EGR then you will have to hook the LC1 up to a computer and program the LC1 output to the correct parameters.

I dont know. ill try to figure it out, but im almost positive the wire i need on the egr that is the "signal" wire is the brown one on the egr harness. so basicly ill hook it up as follows?
red= 12v ign on
blue=ground
white=ground
yellow= to brown on the egr (if that the correct wire)
brown= nothing

but my understanding is the the analogs are for OUTPUT, like gauges or screens? not for sensor input.

ok just called innovate and they said that the yellow and the brown off the wideband module ARE the signal outputs so you were right................
im assuming now i would hook the yellow wire to the brown on the egr and that will get me the signal info im looking for?
