Cranks With no Fire

lol your funny,,, you can use a test light to check for power at the injectors, the power circuit does not go through the pcm,, it comes from the fuse block straight to the injectors
the pcm controls the ground circuit and i wouldnt recomend a test light on that circuit, but for the power circuit your fine
now if said to check for injector pulse id tell ya to use a noid light

btw, they have power.

Sounds like a possible VATS issue. Turn the VATS off and reflash it. If that works you will need to relink your VATS if you want it on.
The GTO computer probably wont work. You will have the VATS issue as well as a crank postion signal problem. I believe the 04 GTOs have the later model reluctor wheel on the crank.

I don't have a DOM or a volt meter, all I have is a test light.
If my PCM is bad, can I use any 99-02 Fbody PCM's?
Tonight I'm gonna try to unplug my buddy's 04 GTO PCM and plug mine in and see if his car fires with my PCM....I'd really like to try this on a Fbody but I wasnt sure if I can do this on anything besides an 02 M6 car?

the GTO will use a green/blue pcm, not a red/blue pcm, the pinout is probably close, but the keys in the wire harness will prevent you from connecting the green/red connector together.

this may or may not be helpful. A few years back when i did my first ls engine pull out(wrecked car, section front end) i put everything back in and i had the same problem. Turned out to be a very small ground wire on the upper radiator support by the air box. I would just check to see if that is hooked up and has good ground. It is small enough to be easily overlooked.

Log shows vitals such as ect, iat, etc. No RPM, no crank signal, no cam signal. No errors from the either. no codes.
PCM is good, tried it on another car.
I think he is going to take the harness out and check for an open/short.
