Cranks With no Fire
So I go to put my car all together tonight(Me & Dlove) get it all together, clip everything...check everything twice. Turn it over and she just cranks....no fire what so ever.
First thing I do is check the shrater valve for fuel at the rail....Check
Then he thinks maybe the pushrods are to long since it's showing no vacuum as he's logging...pull the valve cover, looks good! The throw a compression gauge on it and it has compression! But we noticed the plugs are dry....bone dry. So I crank it over and he notices the PCM show's theres no spark or fuel. We check all the grounds, all is good, check fuses...everything's good.
We end up even replacing the Cam & Crank Positioning sensor's...STILL NO FIRE.
Anyone else ran into this problem?

I don't have a DOM or a volt meter, all I have is a test light.
If my PCM is bad, can I use any 99-02 Fbody PCM's?
Tonight I'm gonna try to unplug my buddy's 04 GTO PCM and plug mine in and see if his car fires with my PCM....I'd really like to try this on a Fbody but I wasnt sure if I can do this on anything besides an 02 M6 car?

lol your funny,,, you can use a test light to check for power at the injectors, the power circuit does not go through the pcm,, it comes from the fuse block straight to the injectors
the pcm controls the ground circuit and i wouldnt recomend a test light on that circuit, but for the power circuit your fine
now if said to check for injector pulse id tell ya to use a noid light
