Default Tuning 12.1:1 compression

hey, anyone had any trouble tuning an LS2 408 with a static compression of 12.1:1 and dynamic compression of 10.88:1 on pump fuel

Don't remember my dynamic off the top of my head, but I think it was around there and I had no problems with my iron block 408... even sprayed 200 shot on pump gas too...

10.88:1 dynamic? Wow that's super high, I'd think that's race gas territory for sure.

He's right, you should be under 10:1 dynamic for pump gas

Must be a very small cam to get 10.8 DCR.

Yep, they are right - I went back to my old records and mine was 12:1 SCR, but 8.0:1 DCR!!! Put a big cam in it I had a Texas Speed "Giant" in mine.

Yeah man, your not gonna be able to get that thing to run on pump. 9.0 is usually the max for pump and thats pushing it. Just don't run a lot of timing, or get c16.
