Quick question

I have a friend that has EFI Live and for some reason the Scanner that you plug the Lap Top into and you plug the OBDII Cable into doesn't want to communicate with it.

Can you get a cable to go from the PCM to the OBDII Connector without having to go into that Scanner..or does it have to go into the Scanner first?

Also I'm looking to get HP Tuners if anyone has one they want to part with.

Has to go though the scanner. Check your cigarette lighter fuse. Same power circuit for the OBDII connector.

Everything is good on the Car.. something with that Scanner is messing up. Could be a Cable aswell..we are looking into it.

Have you connected any other scan tools to the car? As was stated before, make sure you have 12 volts on Pin 16 of the OBDII connector, it is the cig. lighter circuit.
