Default Newbie Needs Tuning Help!

I’m new to hp tuners and I went to help a friend out because he had a CEL. When I looked at the codes it was LTFT lean bank 1 and 2. So I went ahead and saved his tune just to look at it, and see if I seen anything out of the ordinary. I looked at his Primary VE table and it looks a little rough to (me) and would like some suggestions on what you guys think. This car is a 04 GTO P1 Procharger 9.5psi, Cam, and Meth injection. I’m just looking for any suggestions anyone has on the tune. Thanks for your time and if you need any more info please just tell me and I will get it. I also attached a short log; there isn’t much steady cruising so I know it’s a little hard to give any info on the LTFT. I used the beta 2.3, I will post up v2.22 friday night for those of you who can open the tune file.

Ok heres a screen shot of the primary VE table if you need anything else just tell me. Im trying to find out if he should take the car back for a retune or just find another tuner.

Like I told you on HP Tuners, it needs a re-tune. VE and PE all F'd up. I would get a different tuner since the first hack messed up this tune. Heck, get a wideband and you tune it for him.

I wish I had the knowledge to tune it myself. I don't trust myself to tune it yet, im still learning and have a lot to learn. I really appreaciate your adivce though!

Correct me if I am wrong but shouldn't the VE table look more like these?

something had to get jacked up in the read of that tune cause heres the ve table in the car, the cars made 640rwhp and has been running for 3+ years on basically the same tune, if it was that f'd up something would have broke by now

I agree something went wrong. But the hp numbers don't mean anything really. And if he did beat on the car like most people do I think something would have went wrong by now. And he is showing LTFT lean bank 1 and 2.

Yep, it should not be all over the place unless someone, the tuner, used it to fudge the numbers because he didn't want to tune the VE table. With both banks lean, did you follow the diagnostics like I asked before and check all of the basics such as fuel pressure, proper O2 switching etc.

No I haven't yet, Did you tell me to do that in the hp tuners forum? Edit I see now, I will check it out tomorrow.

so 600+rwhp on stock engine + cam means nothing about ?? and he has been easy on the car everyday but there is 70+ dynopulls on the life of the car and its seen its fair share of ragging, i agree something happened to the tune if thats actually whats in there but its not what it left with. I know this car has had it fair share of people poking arround in the pcm so who knows what happened to it. by all means have a whack at it.

its a boosted car with a std 1 bar map and methenol
