Installing EFI live questions and problems

Installing EFI live questions and problems I just got a laptop free from my brother since he got a new one. It seems odd in that is says the harddrive has about 20gigs used but there is nothing on it other than vista that I can see.
Anyway, when trying to install EFI live flash scan and tune or explorer I get this message: "The requested operation requires elevation. Win32 error 740"
Aside from that, other than the sticky threads what are some good sources for reading on getting started tuning?
What kind of wide band do I need? Do I need just the sensor or a sensor and controller?
Sorry for the stupid questions but I have been fighting to get this pc to boot for about 2 hours (boot files were compressed) and now I'm frustrated efi live won't install.

I'll get registered up and start reading later this week. Wow, I'm excited but this thing is overwhelming it seems. I spent a lot of time last night reading the manuals from the install cd.
In the manuals it said the orange plugs allow you to connect a wideband o2 sensor with bare wires but then gives voltage scales for a few wideband controllers...so I'm guessing that means I do need a controller too and it has an output that is bare wires? I've never seen one in person so I hope that doesn't sound too stupid.
