What are these wires for on PCM?

What are these wires for on PCM?

Can anyone tell me what are these wires for? Solid purple wire & solid white wire. The solid white one is no longer attached, I don't know if I should mess with it. This is an 02' Camaro B4C LS1...

Solid white wire is the one that's off. Solid purple connected to the green. Should I reconnect the white one? Why are they spliced into the green wires?

I got the electrical diagrams out.... but what are those two wires? Anyone else have this?

No not the pin outs. See the solid purple wire on the top pic, with the white male connector going into the brown female connector, that is connected to the green wire. Then there is the solid white wire(above purple) that is broken off from connecting to the other green wire which still has brown female connector. Trying to find out what they are and if I need to reconnect the wire. It's been like that as long as I can remember, but I'm having some random miss fire issues.
